The Spark
As the first iPhones emerged, my tech fascination began. While still in school, I delved into jailbreaking and customizing software to suit my preferences. Word quickly spread, and I found myself running a side hustle, tweaking devices ranging from iPhones to PlayStations for classmates. This experience, in turn, ignited an even greater interest in tech and design.
Studies
While pursuing my degree in interaction design at ZHdK, I actively sought out opportunities to apply and enhance my skills. This drive led me to take on some freelance assignments. However, the bulk of my hands-on experience came from in-depth ZHdK projects and collaborations with other academic institutions such as ETH and ZHAW.
Design Philosophy
I call my design mantra "playful minimalism." This concept is about refining a product to its essential elements while ensuring it remains engaging and delightful. This approach not only enhances the final product but also optimizes the entire design process, adopting lean methodologies, ensuring to minimize waste while maximizing value. By focusing on what truly adds value, I aim to make the product not just a tool but an enriching addition to the users' lives.
Personal Stuff
As for me personally, I embrace every chance that I get to ride my bicycle regardless of the season. Alongside this, I'm deeply enamored by Hip Hop, not just as a musical genre, but as a vibrant celebration of diverse artistic expressions. My urban roots are undeniable, and I thrive amidst the dynamic pulse of city life. My travels have taken me to numerous metropolitan hubs, but Lisbon, Hamburg, and Prague hold a special place in my heart.
Career Aspirations
I approach my design career with the same passion and love as a hobby. Instead of a fixed end goal, I thrive on continuous growth, treating my journey like an evolving project. I actively seek feedback and adapt my skills accordingly, making sure I stay in form as times change.
